Welcome to my first blog post. This first post is perfect as it combines my love of beauty products with a bargain! I’m going to review Make up Revolutions new product Conceal and Define and let you know how you could get it for £3.20!
On first look it’s clear that Makeup Revolution have created a cheaper alternate to Tarte’s Shape Tape. I love a drugstore dupe so I had to go pick these up!
The concealers come in a wide range of shades which is fantastic for such an affordable brand. I picked up a concealer shade and a contour shade… I also want the lightest shade to brighten but this was sold out in my local stores! The concealer shade I picked up is C3, this is great as I am quite fair, so picking up a shade that isn’t the very lightest available is a rarity for me. Unfortunately, not all the shades were available in my local store so go online if you can’t find your perfect shade.
Swatches: C14, C3
The concealers come with a huge applicator, much like Shape Tape. I found the coverage to be amazing, definitely a winner for me. The formula is very thick, but I found that it blended well with a beauty blender. You will need lots of powder under the eyes to stop creasing though.
Overall, I think this is a great product from Makeup Revolution. Once I get my hands on a lighter shade I will do a full face shaping trial for you.
Now what about that bargain?
The Conceal and Define retails for £4 which is already a fantastic price. However, if you are a student you are in luck! Currently Superdrug have 20% off for students. This means you get your product for £3.20…amazing! This is especially great if you are buying two or three shades like I was.
If you want to get this price be quick as the 20% is a limited time offer for Superdrug.
